The Brief
Enduro is delivering the tenant improvement for a new STRONG Pilates studio on St Johns Street in Port Moody, acting as general contractor under a City of Port Moody building permit. Working from a Cloudscape Architecture interior-design package, the team is converting roughly 2,490 sq.ft. of base-building space into a boutique reformer-Pilates studio — a barrier-free training floor, washrooms and millwork-finished front of house. The job is on site now, scheduled from demolition through final inspections.

Scope of Work
- Demolition & base-building prep — site mobilization and selective demolition strip the existing unit back to base building, plus concrete scanning and coring ahead of new services — the schedule's opening moves.
- Steel-stud framing, drywall & ceilings — new partition walls and doors framed in metal stud, then boarded, mudded and taped to form the studio floor, washrooms, office and a janitor/laundry room, with an engineer's framing field review.
- Plumbing & washroom fixtures — seven fixtures roughed in and set under a City of Port Moody plumbing permit, serving one universal/accessible washroom plus a regular WC and the back-of-house wet areas.
- HVAC & mechanical — new HVAC distribution and an air-flow balancing test condition the studio, built to the engineered mechanical package and closed out with a mechanical field review.
- Electrical fit-out — full electrical rough-in, load board and finish wiring under a separate electrical permit, including field review — lighting and power for the training floor and front of house.
- Fire sprinkler relocation — sprinkler heads relocated to suit the new layout under a City of Port Moody sprinkler permit, keeping the sprinklered space code-compliant.
- Resin floor coating, mirrors & millwork — coated studio floors, full-height wall mirrors and accessories, and custom millwork with vanities and a countertop — the brand-facing finishes that define a STRONG Pilates floor.
- Specialty platforms & FRP wall panels — reformer platforms and fibre-reinforced plastic (FRP) wall panelling, alongside paint and final finishes, ahead of final field reviews, inspections and cleaning.
