The Brief
A regulated retail fit-out for the BC Liquor Distribution Branch's BC Cannabis Store on Marine Drive in North Vancouver. As general contractor, Enduro carried the project from hazardous-material abatement and structural framing through to secure storage, advanced security and the customer-facing sales floor — built to the District of North Vancouver building permit and the LDB's retail standard. Completed in 2023.

Scope of Work
- Hazardous-material abatement — pre-construction asbestos abatement of the existing tenancy, with clearance, before any new build-out began.
- Structural framing & upgrades — structural steel and framing revisions to the existing building, with new beams and demising-wall details engineered and issued through RFIs and sealed site instructions.
- Roofing & rooftop unit — new warrantied roofing and a rooftop HVAC unit, including the maintenance receptacle and an access hatch to the hot-water tank.
- Secure storage & retail millwork — checkout counters and display casework with locked storage shelving and a door schedule built to the cannabis-retail security standard.
- Security: automatic doors & access control — automatic door operator, deadbolt and electric-strike access control, roller shutters, a door viewer and a controls and cable-tray package.
- Mechanical, plumbing & sheet metal — plumbing, sheet metal and air grilles tied to the new rooftop unit and demising layout.
- Flooring, ceilings & wall protection — flooring and baseboard, drywall and T-bar ceiling, corner guards and FRP wall protection for a durable retail surface.
- Finishes, film & signage — painting throughout, window films, brick panels and final placard and signage to complete the storefront.
