The Brief
Enduro converted space inside the City of Surrey's Sport & Leisure Complex on Fraser Highway into a new child-minding facility — a daycare play space and multi-purpose room. The renovation paired durable, kid-safe interior finishes with a new roof assembly and a secured outdoor play zone, delivered as general contractor under O4 Architecture.

Scope of Work
- Childcare play space & multi-purpose room — renovation of the existing area into a daycare play space and multi-purpose room, with new millwork and durable, child-safe finishes throughout.
- New roof assembly — a new tapered-insulation roof assembly with detailed membrane work over the renovated area.
- Secured outdoor play zone — a secured exterior play area, including a security fence and gate for a controlled, child-safe outdoor environment.
- Mechanical & plumbing — plumbing and HVAC under a City of Surrey plumbing permit, engineered to a dedicated mechanical and fire-protection design.
- Electrical & fire alarm — power, lighting and the fire-alarm scope under a City of Surrey electrical permit.
- Drywall, walls & finishes — framed and boarded partitions with the paint package, FRP wall panels and washroom accessories per the finishes schedule.
- Doors, hardware & glazing — doors and hardware, glazing, and automatic door operators.
- Specialties & fire suppression — exterior awnings, window shades and glass tinting, plus the sprinkler scope under a City of Surrey sprinkler permit.
